I am an accredited editor with the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd). My freelance editorial services include the following:
- Contracted publishing jobs such as project management, market research and publishing administration
I have worked on freelance proofreading and copyediting jobs across a broad range of materials including:

What is the difference between copyediting and proofreading?
Copyediting involves checking spelling, grammar, punctuation, language, structure, consistency, clarifying queries and highlighting any issues in the original manuscript. Note that copyediting is different from substantive or developmental editing which involves restructuring the manuscript and flagging content for further development.
Proofreading involves checking the proof pages that are received from the typesetter for any spelling, grammar, punctuation and consistency errors that may have been missed in the initial edit. It also involves checking the formatting of the pages and ensuring that no errors have been introduced during the typesetting process.
